DRAGO Mission
In Chinese mythology, the dragon is a mythical creature which almost reaches the status of a demi-God. The dragon has long been a potent symbol of auspicious power in Chinese folklore and art. They are the rulers of weather and water. They had the ability to change fprm, fly, change size and other wonderful feats. The spiritual quality of the dragon is.. (continued)
"S.I.C. - Systema of Independent Culture" is the name given by DRAGO for a new cultural movement which DRAGO has identified and defined. The philosophy of "S.I.C." is the backbone of DRAGO'S publishing, which aims at documenting the state of the art of the 2nd Pop Revolution in the 1st Age of Globalization.
The unifying thread is the letter S, a logo that sums different concepts of the DRAGO brand: system, street, samurai, speed, style, skate, sex, $. S is also a symbol representing the dynamic energy of that spiral, the eternal comeback, the Egyptian ouroboros, the fusion of yin and yang. Partecipating in "S.I.C." are the most interesting Cultural Jockeys - CJ's, united in a Manifesto of autonomy and inner transparency, the vade-mecum of the global mind-set.
Manifesto
Voice of the international mind-set, Drago promotes the ideas and values of the third pop generation (the second has died with the financial crisis), born from the first generation of globalization, a movement which sprung out of a worldwide creative evolution.
Drago is a gatekeeper of a new cultural movement, which at its base is avant-guard thinking, the movement has been labelled by Drago sic!; “sic!: Systema of Independent Culture”.
The Systema represents the remix of pop cul-ture(s), the essence of the combination of the two revolutions in today’s world, street and internet.
Drago brands projects by creating bespoke and strategic cultural platforms, which generate ideas. Drago represents the mainstream of minorities, where under is over and over is under.
