Magazines are great. You can pick them up at the airport, in a train station, or at your local news stand, you can even have them delivered straight to your front door. These days you can even save a little money by reading them on-line. They are a fantastic tool for procrastination and when you are done you can tear out the pages and line your kitchen drawers with them. You can look at the pictures or actually read the articles, front to back or back to front. And blogs! Now you can know what people are doing, what they think about world happenings, or stay up to date with what they think should be headline news. I mean hell! Why doesn't everyone have a blog? The only problem is that its kinda cumbersome to bring a laptop with you to the loo.
